NSDAC Gives Top USMC Warrant Officer Award

The National Society Daughters of the American Colonists annually presents The Merriweather Post Award to the outstanding USMC Warrant Officer.  This year’s recipient is Warrant Officer Cristine M. Stiger, a Mobility Officer.  She distinguished herself by graduating within the top ten percent of the class, placing her on the Commanding General’s Honor Roll. She received a certificate and a check for $300 for being the female graduate with the highest overall average.

Presenting the award was LTCOL (Retired) Cecile Budimier, Regent of Norfolk Mace Chapter, NSDAC National Chairman Cape Henry Commemoration, and Virginia State Recording Secretary; Sylvia G. Ryder, Virginia State Regent, NSDAC; and Barbara Rooney, Virginia State Registrar, NSDAC.
